Located on the edge of Berkshire, West of Newbury, Two Cocks Brewery was established in 2011 by Mike and Phil and featured on Grand Designs in 2013. At that time, the brewery was part of the farm which hosted the Roundhead reserves encampment during the battle of Newbury on September 20th, 1643. This provided the inspiration behind the beer names for all but Diamond Lil.

In December 2019 the brewery was detached from the farm and sold to the Taryn and Paul from the Porto Pi Group.

Originally from South Africa and involved in the telecoms business internationally, both Taryn and Paul are passionate about brewing good beer and lagers with very different tastes and have a firm commitment to rebuild the award winning range.

Since 2014, Taryn and Paul have showcased quality beers from microbreweries at The Edge at Cropredy festival which is held in mid-August on land they own in north Oxfordshire. With retail and event experience as well as a lifetime of brewing history behind them, purchasing the brewery was a natural step to take.

Based near Enborne, about three miles west of Newbury, the better utilised brewery will be focused on extending the availability of the range at Pub, Bar and Taproom level, not to mention the wide range of beer festivals up and down the country.
